We are excited to announce that Biyi Adeniran, from ISSEC Inc, will be sharing his professional insights into how small businesses and entrepreneurs can protect themselves against cybersecurity risks.

Everybody talks about cybersecurity risks and many still suffer from breaches, cybersecurity makes the headline in the news, there are several service providers and tools claiming to make cybersecurity headaches go away, yet many businesses and business leaders experience cybersecurity breaches annually. As typical with popular phenomena, there is lots of noise around cybersecurity and it is always challenging to sift the wheat from the chaff, leading to a situation where bad actors’ successful exploits.

This presentation will highlight the human side of cybersecurity from the SME/Entrepreneurs perspective, explaining the various factors that makes identifying and effectively managing cybersecurity risks challenging, we will discuss how to strike the balance between driving for innovation, growth and expansion and managing the cybersecurity (including fraud and supply chain) risks. We will share small habits you should adopt/develop to effectively manage your cybersecurity risks without becoming a technical expert or breaking the bank.

‘Biyi Adeniran is a seasoned technology executive with over three decades of experience leading transformation and consistently driving technology and organizational transformation, achieving operational excellence across diverse sectors including governments, non-profits, small businesses, and large enterprises.

He has worked in cybersecurity domain for more than twenty years and has contributed to developing several cybersecurity standards. As Principal Consultant of ISSEC Inc, he supports clients to build digital trust and transform their businesses.
