SACC Arizona and SWEA Professional invites you to an informal Happy Hour Speaker event to make new contacts and gain new insights.

This time it is our distinct pleasure to have Dr. Bruce E. Rittmann from ASU talking about his work on environmental biotechnology.

"I was awarded the 2018 Stockholm Water Prize for my work in Environmental Biotechnology. Environmental Biotechnology involves managing microorganisms so that they provide sustainability services to society. Those services include cleaning up pollution, generating renewable resources, and improving human health," says Dr Rittmann who was awarded the prize together with Mark van Loosdrecht.

His talk will provide an introduction to Environmental Biotechnology and highlights of the events at the Stockholm Water Prize, which was awarded on August 29 this year by Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.
