SACC Arizona and SWEA Professional invites you to an informal Happy Hour Speaker event to make new contacts and gain new insights.

This time we feature cyber security expert and experienced speaker Rachel Harpley. She is the Founder of Recruit Bit, Arizona’s only recruiting agency focused 100% IT Security, InfoSec, and Cybersecurity.

She will help you protect your business and reputation against cyber threats.

She says: "Small businesses are the biggest targets in the lucrative industry of cybercrime. Attendees will learn the three top tips for securing their digital worlds as well as an introduction to the National Institute of Science & Technology’s (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework."

We’ll also discuss phishing and ransomware – and more importantly how to protect your business with tools like encryption. Once you know how to plan for the worst and implement your plan, your business has a resiliency built on information and processes rather than bitcoin ransoms.

Rachel will not be selling any products, but she will provide a multi-page handout complete with details, as well as numerous resources produced by the Federal Trade Commission to help protect your business.

Rachel Harpley serves at Arizona Cyber Warfare Range as the Range Recruiter with a focus on workforce development, and since 2016 Rachel has served as Chair of the Workforce Readiness Initiative of RAMPS grant awarded to Arizona by the National Initiative of Cybersecurity Education (NICE).
